High water in Venice

Monday, October 29th 2018, a date that will be remembered in history: 03.00 pm, 75% of Venice was flooded by 156cm of high tide.

San Marco square has been closed due to security reasons and all public transportation suspended.

During Venice history only 5 times the high tide went over 150cm, the highest one was in 1966, 194cm!

What an extraordinary event!!!

Old and young tourist all enjoined the most beautiful swimming pool in the world,San Marco Square. LOL
