Served in Venice’s bàcari, or wine bars, cicheti are small plates that turn everyday meals into high-street-food bite-size delicacies.
This cooking class is perfect for those travelling with young children but is equally enjoyable for adults.
We will prepare 6 to 7 different types of gourmet cicheti, chosen carefully according to the availability of seasonal meats, fish and vegetable, and ranging from traditional to modern. We will then enjoy the different flavours and combinations the Venetian style: with Prosecco!
You will learn all about one of Venice’s most antique and exclusive traditions and will be able to replicate the recipes back home to the delight all of your guests.

Add on: If you would like to explore Rialto market and pick the local produce we will use with me, we will meet in front of the San Giacometto church at 9:00 am and will be there for about an hour. This is a great way to explore Venice through the eyes of a local and learn about typical ingredients used in the region.
